What Axelerate collects about you, why, who else sees it, and how to get it back or have it deleted. We record practice calls, so this document matters more than most — please read the part about your voice.

Effective 23 September 2026 ·

The short version

  • We collect what you give us (name, email, phone, what you tell us about your experience) and what the platform records as you use it.
  • We record your practice calls, including your voice, and transcribe them. That is how marking works. You can have them deleted.
  • We do not sell your data. Ever.
  • Your Marketplace profile is visible to investors and companies — that is its purpose, and you control what is on it.
  • Your data is processed outside Egypt, including in the United States and the EU.
  • Write to us and we will give you a copy, fix it, or delete it.

The rest of this page is the same thing in detail.

Who is responsible

Axelerate, Cairo, Egypt, decides how and why your information is used, and is responsible for it. For anything about your data — a copy, a correction, a deletion, or a complaint — write to hello@axeleraterei.com.

What we collect

What you give us

  • your name, email address and password when you create an account (the password is stored hashed — we cannot read it)
  • a phone or WhatsApp number, if you choose to get your sign-in codes that way
  • what you tell us about yourself: the seat you are aiming for, your experience, your English, when you want to be placed, where you heard about us
  • what you write in the chat rooms, lesson questions and support emails
  • a profile photo, headline and anything else you add to a Marketplace profile

What the platform records as you use it

  • your progress: lessons finished, quiz attempts and scores, XP, streaks, badges, certificates
  • your practice calls — see the next section, it is the important one
  • purchases and orders, and what you bought (the card itself is never ours to see)
  • sign-in events: when, from what kind of device and browser, and the network address you came from
  • how you use the site and the blog, at the level of pages visited

We do not ask for, and do not want, your identity documents, your bank details or anything about your health, religion, politics or anything else of that kind.

Your voice, and your calls

This is the part most people have not thought about, so it gets its own section.

When you make a practice call on the AI, we record the audio of both sides, including your voice, and we produce a written transcript of what was said. We also measure things about how you spoke — your pace, how much you talked versus listened, how long you left the silence after an objection.

Why. Because that is the product. The marking reads the transcript, the delivery score is arithmetic on the measurements, and the recording is the thing an investor can actually listen to when deciding whether to hire you.

Who can hear it. You. Axelerate staff who review and coach. The AI provider that processes the audio and text to produce the score. Nobody else — unless you choose to share a call to a chat room or attach it to your Marketplace profile, which is always your decision and always reversible.

It is not a real seller. The other voice is software. You are not recording a member of the public, and no real homeowner is involved.

You can have them deleted — a single call, or all of them — by asking us. Deleting a call also deletes its transcript and its score.

Why we are allowed to

  • To give you what you signed up for. Your account, your courses, your calls, your purchases. We cannot run the service without this.
  • Because you asked us to. WhatsApp codes, sharing a call, putting a profile in front of investors. You can withdraw any of these at any time.
  • Because we have a legitimate reason. Keeping accounts secure, stopping fraud and fake sign-ups, and understanding which parts of the product work. We keep this narrow.
  • Because the law requires it. Tax and accounting records, mainly.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. It reaches these companies only because they run part of the service:

WhoWhat they handle
Supabasethe database, your account, files and recordings
Cloudflarehosting and delivering the sites
OpenAIthe AI seller, the transcript and the marking
Resendthe emails we send you, including sign-in codes
EasyKashtaking payment (they handle the card, not us)
WhatsApp / Metadelivering a sign-in code, if you chose that

Each is given only what it needs for that job. We also share information where the law requires it, and we would tell you unless we are forbidden from doing so.

Investors and companies see your Marketplace profile and whatever you attached to it. That is the purpose of the Marketplace, and it is the one place your information is deliberately shown to strangers.

Where it goes

Our database sits in the European Union. Our AI marking runs in the United States. The companies above operate internationally. So yes — if you are in Egypt, your information, including your voice, is processed abroad.

We use providers who commit to appropriate protection for that transfer. If this matters to you, ask us before you record anything.

How long we keep it

  • Your account and progress: while your account is open.
  • Call recordings and transcripts: kept for as long as your account is open, with no expiry. We do not delete calls on a timer and we do not thin them out as they age — they are your record, and a call from your first week is the one that shows how far you have come. Delete any of them, or all of them, whenever you want.
  • An account that never finished signing up: deleted after a week.
  • Sign-in and security logs: a limited period, to investigate problems.
  • Orders and receipts: as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after you close your account.

When you close your account we delete it and what is on it, apart from what we are obliged to keep.

What you can ask us to do

Whatever country you are in, we will do these for you:

  • See it — a copy of what we hold about you
  • Fix it — correct anything wrong
  • Delete it — your account, or specific recordings
  • Take it with you — your data in a portable form
  • Stop it — withdraw a consent, or object to a use
  • Complain — to us first, and to your data protection authority if you are not satisfied

Write to hello@axeleraterei.com. We will answer within 30 days, and we will not charge you for it.

Cookies and what the browser stores

We do not run advertising trackers and there is no third-party analytics pixel on this site. What we do store in your browser:

  • Your session — so you stay signed in. Without it there is no platform.
  • Small preferences — dark mode, which tab you were on, a draft you had not sent. These never leave your browser.
  • Counting — which blog posts get read, so we know what to write more of. Counted, not followed around.

Blocking them will sign you out and break the platform, which is the honest answer rather than a comfortable one.

Children

Axelerate is for adults. You must be 18 or over to have an account, and we do not knowingly collect anything about children. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.

How it is protected

Every sign-in needs a six-digit code as well as a password, and an account is signed in on one device at a time. Passwords are stored hashed. Recordings and uploaded files sit in private storage that needs a signed, time-limited link to open. Who can read which row is enforced by the database itself, not by the app asking nicely.

None of that makes anything unbreakable, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. If we ever have a breach that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the regulator promptly.

Changes to this policy

When we change this page we update the date at the top, and if the change is significant we email account holders rather than hoping they notice. Questions, or anything you want done about your data: hello@axeleraterei.com.
